Embracing The Seasons of Life

   The cold mornings of December have arrived, irritating alarm sounds disturb your peaceful sleep. Half awake and half asleep you search for the snooze option on your phones, hoping to extend that period of deep rest. Nature too remains in a state of rest, after a year of growth and autumn of letting go, meanwhile the animal kingdom survives on food saved during the summer. Few of the animals are in a deep state of hibernation (long sleep), something a lot my friends may envy about them.   What does it mean to be living purposefully? Is it determined by the list of professional achievements on your LinkedIn wall, or by the popularity of your social media presence? Is a purposeful life about being happy all the time as claimed by the champions of toxic positivity?  We indeed live in the most advanced technological age till date, but also in an age of unrealistic expectations.
